TMI, a Poem

Too Much Information, a Poem

TMI

When the cat's tearing up your flower pot
The dog has just messed the floor
Your two kids have been throwing up
And a bill collectors at your door.

If a neighbor called to tell you
In your back yard, a tree fell
And if you look out to see to see it
And your pool is crushed, like hell

Your hubby just walked in and said
That he had just been robbed
His boss called to tell him, they're downsizing
And on top of that ,he's just lost his job

The cops just brought you son home
He crashed the family car
You wonder if your losing it
But you know you don't have far.

I'd call that Too Much Information
I think anyone would have enough
There's just so much you can handle
Cause it makes it really tough.

If your day has gone has slipped away
And you think nothing's been done
Just look around you my friend
Then you know you're not the only one.

Isn't this the truth! On New Year's Day I had one problem after another, and I hoped it wasn't a sign of the year to come. I was spilling things, my cat knocked a bowl off the kitchen counter and it shattered on the floor, and everything seemed to be going wrong. It's good to be reminded that I'm not alone! :-)

Sometime life gets us down, but we have to remember, we are not alone in this mess. I've been having one of theses days although most of the poem is just artificial and thought patterns (I did say most of it). hahaha!
