TMobile Customer Service: Did TMobile Desreve to Win the JD Power and Associates Award?

Best Customer Service?

TMobile is one of the leasing names among wireless service providers. Of course there is tight competition from At&T, Verizon and Sprint among a handful of other cell phone carries. Each company brings different things to the table to appeal to the customer. Personally I have had experience with many cell phone carries, and I am currently with TMobile for two years now. The one thing that really stands out is the exception customer service TMobile offers it's customers.

If at any time I have any issue what so ever, TMobile is 99.9% willing to accommodate me and keep me happy. Honestly, i have not seen any other cell phone carrier cater to it's customers the way TMobile does. And to clear the record, I have no affiliation with TMobile; I don't work for them nor does any of my friends and family. Most cell phone carriers will accommodate you during two very critical times during your contract, that is during the sign up and the short 14-30 days after (in which they risk you terminating the contract) and once your contract is up, since they know you are bait for other cell phone companies looking to gain your business. This is what I have found true for most cell phone companies, but not so with TMobile.

TMobile consistently provides great customer service throughout your whole experience with them. Not only that, but TMobile really does try to give their existing customers "insider deals" Unlike many other cell phone companies who incise you with incredible deals and all else is down hill from there. TMobile has these special plans that every now and then a current customer is able to sign up for, but the cool thing is it's usually a great deal that isn't even availer to their new customers! That's a first! Not only that, but TMobile has also dropped their $18.00 upgrade fee that as of now, ALL other major carriers still charge their current customers who wish to upgrade and extend their contract.

TMobile also offers great deals on their phones, offering a "partial upgrade" price to customers who are still pretty new and not eligible for a full upgrade. But as for me, I totally shop around and usually wait it out until I am eligible for the full upgrade. I currently have the blackberry Pearl Flip 8220, which I got for free at best Buy(an authorized retailer) who price matched WalMart(another TMobile authorized retailer) I had to sign up for the $30.00 a month data plan, but was allowed to cancel that literally the second I added it! I walked away with a free Blackberry, and TMobile is still honoring the $100.00 mail in rebate so technically I got paid $100.00 and got a free Blackberry to boot! Not bad!

I am happy to extend my contract for another two years, as the prices are very competitive. I also have their TMobile at home service for only 10 bucks a month - unlimited nationwide calling from my home phone! And I know the new thing is the Unlimited cell phone plans, don't worry TMobile is on that too! Currently they are only offering it to their current customers (again as special treatment) but it will be available for the public soon I am sure! We TMobile "loyal" customers just get first dibs!

I actually agree and I am not a full att customer yet... I have tmobile for a couple of more months and have been with them for years. I am waiting for my iphone from att. I called them twice to ask some questions and each time it took 10 to 15 minutes at off peak times. Not being able to reach customer service right away like with tmobile, already has me wondering if I made a mistake. If the iphone were with tmobile, I think people would be much happier. I just don't have time to wait 10 or more minutes for customer service. Consumers need to demand more from them, then only will they change.
