TN Treehouses Cabin Rentals in Sevierville, Tennessee

A Unique Place to Stay!

Abby Greenhill
Recently my husband and I took a two-day, mini-trip to Sevierville, Tennessee to hit the outlet malls and visit some of our former stomping grounds. Since I had a shopping list a mile long, we needed to find lodging that was not only reasonably priced, but pet friendly, easy to get to and close to outlet shopping. I had not heard of TN Treehouses before, but I am glad I found them!

I found all of my requirements at TN Treehouses in Sevierville, Tennessee. There are six cabins in all. Cabin #1 is the only pet friendly cabin. They are not large 5 level log cabins, if that is what you are looking for. These are small cabins, approximately 400 square feet, but with everything you need for a couple and a dog, and I mean everything!

TN Treehouses are owned by local people who live and work in the area. They are familiar with the wants and needs of visitors to East Tennessee. I did a search for pet friendly rentals in Sevierville, Tennessee and came up with an extensive list. I chose the TN Treehouses because the cabins have what we wanted and needed, and at a great price.

TN Treehouses are all one bedroom cabins, with queen size beds. The bedroom has a TV, there is a lot closet space and the built in drawers make it easy to unpack. There is one bathroom which also has a washer/dryer. The full size kitchen has pots and pans, dishes and glassware in case you decide to cook in! The living room is open to the kitchen and has a sleeper sofa, TV and electric fire place for that soft glow on a chilly evening.

The cabins at TN Treehouses are secluded enough that you won't be bothered with road noise and traffic, but the five acre tract is within a short ride to the outlets and our favorite restaurants. If you don't want to cook, head down to Highway 441 where you will find Damon's Steakhouse, Friday's and Logan's Steakhouse. Across the highway in the outlet mall is the Chop House. Fuddruckers and the Texas Roadhouse are close by. Click here for more restaurants.

Once we checked in and unpacked, we headed out to a few of the outlet stores and loaded up on goodies. It was nice knowing we only had a short distance back to the cabin, instead of miles of winding mountain roads to climb! The cabin had a very welcoming feel and we were pleased with the amenities provided. Check the website for rates, a complete list of amenities and photos of all 6 cabins.

I had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners. TN Treehouses has been in business since 2008. Initially the cabins were run by a rental company, but then the owners decided to take over the management and day to day operation of the business. While the cabins have been doing excellent business, the owners have decided to sell the cabins. They would like to move on to other ventures and adventures. If anyone is looking to buy 6 adorable rental cabins in Sevierville, Tennessee, give the owner, Dale Chapman, a call.

Imagine a day of outlet shopping in such stores as Pepperidge Farm, where they sell Godiva Chocolates at a big discount by the way! Other stores include Harry and David's, Coach, Levi's, 9 West, the Disney Store...there are over 100 outlet stores in Tanger Outlet Mall alone. Click here for the complete list of shops at Tanger Outlet Mall.

Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg all have outlet malls and shops, great restaurants, shows, and beautiful scenery. It is a fantastic area for a vacation any time of the year. Make your plans to visit this special part of Tennessee and have a wonderful vacation in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Remember, if you are looking for a cozy and well equipped rental cabin, try TN Treehouses. It is much more fun to stay in a log cabin in the woods compared to a noisy motel on the highway.
