TNA Presents Against All Odds

Spy Radio

Against All Odds is a TNA wrestling Pay-Per-View (PPV), which will take place Sunday, February 12 th 2012. Against all odds will feature four Championship Matches. The World Heavyweight Championship Match, the Tag Team Championship Match, the X-Division Championship Match, and the Knockouts Championship Match.

The World Heavyweight Championship Match will feature the Champion Bobby Roode and the challengers Jeff Hardy, James Storm, and Bully Ray. With four Superstars competing in this Match it could go either way but when it's all said and done Roode will be walking away with the Championship. Roode and Ray may start the Match off as a team taking on Hardy and Storm but the longer the Match goes the more likely they will turn on each other. The same goes for Hardy and Storm. They may be friends going into the Match but neither one is going to stand by and watch the other pick up the victory. This will provide an opening for Roode to steal a victory. Something tells me Roode will pin Ray which will lead to the end of their friendship. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Roode.

The Tag Team Championship Match will feature the Champions Matt Morgan and Crimson and the challengers Samoa Joe and Magnus. These two teams faced off last month at Genesis with Morgan and Crimson picking up the victory. I felt Morgan and Crimson should have won the Match but I was surprised they won it clean. I thought they would have won by disqualification or count out. This time around I would be surprised if Crimson and Morgan won the Match clean. Either way Morgan and Crimson will still be picking up the victory.

When Samoa Joe debuted in TNA he had an undefeated streak that lasted 18 months. I always thought Joe should be the one to end Crimson's undefeated streak. Crimson's undefeated streak is approaching 14 months. Morgan and Crimson have held the Tag Team Championships for a little more than two months. For those reasons Crimson and Morgan should pick up the victory or have the Match end in disqualification or count out. That way the feud between these Superstars can continue, Crimson can extended his undefeated streak for another month or two, and Morgan and Crimson can remain Tag Team Champions for a few more months.

The X-Division Championship Match will feature the Champion Austin Aries and the challenger Alex Shelley. This is Shelley's first Championship Match since returning. It seems like TNA launched Shelley into the Championship picture to soon. Even though Aries has been Champion since September 11 th 2011, it does not make a lot of sense to have Shelley win the Championship this time around. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Aries.

The Knockouts Championship Match will feature the Champion Gail Kim and the challenger Tara. With Madison Rayne in her corner, Kim has the advantage. Rayne will most likely interfere in the Match some how. The distraction will be enough to cost Tara the victory. This would allow a rematch to take place next month at Lock Down. With Kim and Tara fighting inside the steel cage, it will be harder for Rayne to interfere. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Kim.

Besides the four Championship Matches, Against All Odds will also feature a Number One Contender's Match and two singles Match.

The Number One Contender's Match will feature Jesse Sorensen and Zema Ion. The winner of the Match will receive a Championship Match against the X-Division Champion. If Austin Aries remains Champion it would make sense that Sorensen becomes the Number One Contender. Sorensen is a face and Aries is a heel, Ion is also a heel which is why it would not make a lot of sense to have him battle Aries. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Sorensen.

The first singles Match will feature Aj Styles and Kazarian. Kaz will have Christopher Daniels in his corner putting Styles at a huge disadvantage. Odds are Daniels will interfere in the Match when the referee has his back turned. Even though Kaz will not want to pick up the victory that way, Daniels will make him pin Styles or threaten to reveal his secret. For that reason I'm giving the victory to Kazarian.

The second singles Match will feature Gunner and Garett Bischoff. Gunner will have Eric Bischoff in his corner and Garett will have Hulk Hogan in his corner. Over the past few months TNA has been trying to build up both of these Superstars. Garett was a referee who is now entering the ring full time with Hulk Hogan as his trainer. Gunner was being built as being able to destroy any Superstar in his path by sending them home in an ambulance. This time around Gunner will not be sending his opponent home in an ambulance. Garett has Hulk Hogan in his corner. If Garett loses Hogan does not look like a very good trainer. Since Hogan just returned I doubt TNA has any plans for him to look bad. For those reasons I'm giving the victory to Garett.

I guess friendship has to be put aside since everyone wants the title.

If you are giving the victory to Kazarian, then who am I to argue. You're good.
