A great way to convince your mind that you are well on your way to reaching your life goal is by writing a dollar amount of money you have in your savings account or money market account on a sheet of paper. But instead of writing down the exact amount of what your total savings are, just add a few more thousand dollars to the total amount and stipulate that "This is what I will have in the bank next month: $10,000." You have to write it down exactly like that because you have now convinced yourself that nothing will stop you from attaining that great success when it comes to putting that exact dollar amount in your savings by next month.

After you have done that for the next month of your life, you need to write down the annual amount you dream of for the next level of great success to be achieved. Don't write down something like "I want to be a millionaire by 2009." That will not accomplish anything because you are not explicit enough in your details. You should write down something like this "My web writing business generates $40,000 in profits for the last quarter in 2008." That actually states not only how much you should be making at that time, but also how you are able to achieve this lofty goal.

It has been said that we only utilize 10 percent of our total brain power and I tend to believe it.
