As fast as I could gather my things, I was on the next flight home. My wife and I celebrated the anniversary in a very nice restaurant. Saving that anniversary was a gift from modern travel. More humbling was the fact I had forgotten my anniversary because I was fully engaged in myself.
Today is another important occasion I will not forget.

So again I say, Happy Veterans Day !
