My daughter, my friend
You grew up so fast
The days flew by
And the nights swept past
I remember the days
Of laughs and giggles
The trips to the shore
and watching the Wiggles
You just turned eighteen
No longer a child
Your life is ahead of you
just don't be too wild
As relationships change
Our roles kind of blend
I will always be
your mother, your friend!
