Today is my daughter's birthday. This is an acrostic poem that I wrote especially for her.
To my daughter Krystle,
On her fifteenth birthday.
May your wishes come true.
You deserve the very best.
Daddy's precious little girl,
And mama's best friend.
Understanding big sister.
Growing up way too fast.
Helping however you can.
Taking care of little brother.
Entertaining us with laughter.
Real treasure you truly are.
Krystle it is your birthday.
Rejoice in turning fifteen.
Youthful and energetic.
Savor your teenage years.
Take time to enjoy your youth.
Laugh and have fun with friends.
Exciting times are still ahead.
