Earth Day Poem
We say we care but we really don't
We have ineffective protest sometimes but tomorrow no one will care
We throw garbage out our car windows without a second thought
We rant about Racism, sexism, ageism and very rarely speak about the earth
But the words of Margret Mead "We will not have a society if we destroy the environment."
