To the Fat Lady

Bend over to touch your toes.

How you do it know one knows.

Reach down to tie your shoes.

And sing to yourself the fat lady blues.

So pick up your fork and spoon.

Be sure to have lunch by noon.

Sup by 5 and a little snack too.

Stuff your face until it turns blue.

Your waist measures 30 inches plus.

Each diet begins with such a fuss.

How you do it no one knows.

How do you get into your clothes?
