T.O Is Going to Buffalo; Will the Cowboys Win Now?
Will Romo Take Dallas to the Big Game This Year, Now that the Controversy is Gone?
With a new and improved Tony Romo, plus Jason Whitten, the Cowboys are looking for an upcoming season of harmony and team spirit. T.O. was rocking the boat on a regular basis because his limelight kept flickering and he wasn't having any of that.
Will the Cowboys miss T.O. with his spectacular catches and whirlwind yardage? Probably for about a minute. More than likely he will fall by the wayside of other great, but troublesome players who have floated through Dallas over the years.
Owens has been a thorn in the side of every team he plays for. While a talented player without a doubt, he can't seem to keep a lid on his bad attitude. No matter how much play time or kudos he gets, he can't get enough to keep him from continuously putting his foot in his mouth.
It has cost him big this time. According to ESPN, it seems he will get picked up by the Buffalo Bills, announced today. They are offering a 1 year contract only. Buffalo Bills will be Owens' fourth stop. He started in San Francisco, moved to Philadelphia - where he helped them get to a Super Bowl - and then to the Cowboys. Not exactly how he said he wanted to finish his career. Will he play football in Buffalo and be quiet? Probably not..
Whatever T.O. does, the Cowboys are gearing up for a new stadium debut and hoping for big things this year.
The Front Office is saying that Romo will be the leader they intended for him to be in this next season. With not only Jason, but other key players, Jerry Jones is promoting team spirit and cohesive attitudes. He is expecting a winning season with the new stadium almost ready to go and the next Superbowl being hosted by Dallas.
Tony Romo (rumor has it)has discarded what many loyal Dallas fans believed was his Achilles heel for the last two seasons. Jessica Simpson. Fans are saying that now he can concentrate on football. Which, after all is why the Cowboys gave him so much money and gave him the title of Quarterback. A Quarterback in Dallas is expected to be above reproach and to lead the team without fail. No excuses and no half-ass measures.
In normal times, Dallas fans are hardcore. In bad times like America is facing from coast to coast, loyal fans are looking to their heroes to help them get through. If the Cowboys are losing or are not taking their fan's concern seriously, trouble is bound to be vocalized across Texas. Fans feel this year is a chance to take the Cowboys all the way. They want to host the Superbowl and be in it. Their expectations couldn't be any higher for this team, this year.
Whatever else Jerry Jones was thinking when he let T.O. go, he must have been thinking of the fans and their desperate need to back a winning team. A team that truly worked together without conflict and controversy.
The Cowboys have the potential to go all the way. They have Romo and they have a team without the gripe section now. Cowboy fans across the country are hoping this will be the year they take the big game home.

96.9 in Colorado. I checked the website and nothing there. It was a brief, early morning interview on the phone with her and I caught about 5 minutes of commentary beforehand with the hosts talking about her being fat and must of been a reason for the breakup and his cheating. I don't know. That is all I heard. I am taking for granted the hosts weren't lying right before she came on air. That is all the info I have. Sorry.. Not the main topic of article though. Wasn't going for tabloid news. I thought it was common knowledge. I hope it is true.
Jessica was on a local radio station and told about the breakup. He supposedly was cheating on her.
