To My Grandma

Carol Wilkins

Dear Grandma,

I cannot yet speak

And I'm still very small,

But I want you to know

You have my love all.

I give you a smile

And hope that you see

That I am so happy

Just to sit with you and be.

I want you to have

A piece of my heart,

So that wherever you go,

You'll know we aren't apart.

The ruby is red,

So deep is my love.

The gold and the diamonds

A sign of forever love.

I wish we were closer;

Physically near.

But we're always together,

In this heart here.

I love you, dear Grandma

And send you birthday wishes.

I'll see you so soon,

Here's more hugs and kisses.

Love,

Hanna
