I love you each and every way.
The tender love you've given me.
I'll treasure for eternity.
The morning sparkles when you're near,
Like dewdrops dancing on a tear.
I marvel at the way you make,
my day all peaceful as a lake.
I love the way you tweak my nose,
When I've done something "on the loose."
You hug and make me feel your warmth,
Though I have been sometimes errant.
You stayed late nights to wait for me,
Until you're sure of my safety.
You bought my first prom dress and rings.
And helped me out in everything.
Oh father, words are not enough
To say thank you and make you laugh.
I hope you'll appreciate my gift.
A kiss and hug to you each lift.
