To Spy or Not to Spy

Winning the Wrong Battles Can Lose a War

LarrWayne Po

What is love
But to trust,
And to teach,
Displaying confidence
One's thoughts
Are worth the weigh?

A world without trust,
Like lust without love,
Is it not a juve's game?

Will not the clock gears
Continue to turn,
Not waiting on us to learn
Not to fall on our face?

Then where came this hurt,
Felt in the heart?
A learn,
The hard way,
The hurt's echo returned
From whence it came.

Can we get it back,
The kitten we've startled,
With little but subtle moves?
At least we got a glance?

The chance is there,
But the lingering moments
Could count and continue.
Hours or dreadful years,
Longing for warmth
While standing under snow drops,
For an ice sickle to melt,
One drop at a time,
One made out of tears.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

Trusting often does not come easily or without substantial risk.... But, no risk = no life.

time and your "snow drops" just melt forever away...outstanding in its power... your poem lingers in the air like the very final word....
