To My True Love, Timothy

Anne Therese McCorkell
In revealing your deepest desires to me,

I fell deeply in love with you,

When I saw you sitting in the sunlight,

The blue of the sky couldn't compare to

the color of your eyes,

The taste of sweet wine couldn't compare

to that of your lips,

To feel your arms caressing me sensually,

I prayed to live to love you forever,

Thoughts of you lingered in my memory,

Like ripples of waves of ocean current,

Continuously washing against the sand and

seashells,

Your love remains forever emblazoned on my

heart, mind and soul.
