"My World", with Neil Cavuto, Neil reported that the DOW was down triple digits. The worst was the hair of the on the wall street reporter covering this event for Neil. Can't they let her know that she is having a bad hair day? Oh, the humanity!

Yes, stocks are retreating, (mainly the Dow after hitting a new landmark high of 14,000). Numbers like 14,000 are indications that the scat is going to hit the fan. They have no place in reality, it is just that when brokers want to play a round of golf, they plug in a sell or buy number in so it looks like they are working.

Traders play less golf and tend to fish more often. Since fishing takes longer than golf, they normally have a spread of trade triggers. Oil prices have been going higher. Commodities traders, not to be confused with real stock traders or "traders", don't fish. They tend to be people that really don't have a life. They are probably the only reason the game "Pit" has any sales at all. You may have noted that commodities markets close at odd times. These times normally coincide with early bird specials at chain restaurants.

The bond market did well today meaning bond buyers get less money. Yes, prices are up, yield is down. That means if you have a ten year mortgage on your house, swap it for bonds quickly to save money. President Bush announced that the economy is healthy, other than traders that are fishing, and that he will veto any Democratic tax increases.

The Democratic majority of both houses need to learn to fish. Instead they are trying to agree to disagree on every issue they should agree on.

Britney Spear's dog peed on an over priced dress and Linsey Lohan is in rehab. Michael Vick pleaded not guilty to fighting dogs. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama disagree on talking! Neither have new videos by outside sources. Jay Leno, after last night saying that Linsey Lohan was previously booked and could not make his show, is planning to do a monologue on Britney's dog peeing on the $6500.00 dress.

On the local scene, as of 12:00 noon, only one lobster diver in the Florida Keys has died chasing spiny lobster. That number is expected to increase.

That is today in the news!

This may not be well received. It is my version of all the scat that is worth to sling in ten seconds. Let me know what you think.
