Today's Five Popular Characters from "Desperate Housewives"

Some of the characters from "Desperate Housewives" have given some brilliant performances. There are a few characters that stand out in recent episodes. Here are five characters that have been memorable and popular in episodes.

Susan Delfino - She is played by Terri Hatcher who was once seen on air as Lois Lane! She was Susan Mayer, but is now married to Mike Delfino. Her flourishing character on "Desperate Housewives" has been known to give great performances. Now she is battling with a kidney problem. Will this season be the end of Susan? Or will she get a kidney donor soon? She founds out she is in luck when an old high school friend turns up at the hospital giving consent to give her a kidney, which is a match! Eventually, Susan finds out how weird he is, because he has been obsessed about her for years and still is! This makes her feel strange about the whole matter. Will she still get a kidney donor from him? It does not look like it anymore, especially after she confronts him telling him that he is stalking her! Is this end for Susan? Will anyone ever give her a kidney donor?

Gabrielle Solis - Gabrielle is played by Eva Longoria. Her stunning beauty and spectacular character makes "Desperate Housewives" worth watching every week. Since Gabrielle lost her real daughter, she has become broken and sad. Eva Longoria gives a great performance portraying a mother who is heart broken over losing a daughter! Will Gabrielle be able to cope in the future? Will she get herself together by going to see a Therapist? It seems to be according to Gabrielle when she tells her husband and he finds out she is getting beauty therapy instead. Will talking to a Therapist help Gabrielle? In the last episode, we see her tell the Therapist how her step father had molested her when she was a child. Poor Gabrielle! Will she survive from all the terrible things that have happened to her?

Lynette Scavo - Lynette is played by Felicity Huffman. She gives a great performance as Lynette Scavo. Recently in "Desperate Housewives" we have watched Lynette being confused about why her mother wants to marry a man with no sense of feeling for anyone but himself. This new character, who will be Lynette's new step father, is played by Larry Hagman, who was seen as a star of the hit show "Dallas". Lynette is angry with him for the way he talks to her mother. Then he dies in her house, whilst sitting on her sofa posing for a family picture! Now her mother has come into money and wants to help Lynette. What will be next for Lynette? Keep watching to find out!

Paul Young - Played by Mark Moses. He plays a great performance, as the villain in "Desperate Housewives". Now he is back in "Desperate Housewives" and has been a nuisance to his neighbors on Wisteria Lane by trying to open up a halfway house. What will he do next? He, also, got shot and now it is revealed that Zach Young was the one that pulled the trigger! In the last episode, we see Mike Delfino telling Paul Young that he knows where Zach lives and that he needs their help. How will Paul treat Zach when he sees? Will he be brutal to him? Will he want revenge or will he help Zach? Time will tell!

Bree Van de Kamp - Played by Marcia Cross. Bree is a popular character in "Desperate Housewives" and is now living with her partner in sin. Marcia Cross has played a great performance as Bree Van de Camp in recent episodes. Her love for a younger man is unusual for her, but will she mess it all up by telling him that he has a son? Will he end up leaving her? Keep watching future episodes to find out!

    My husband thinks he just can't miss "the housewives" which is totally out of character for him.
    Before he retired, his co-workers at school liked to rag him about it. I've seen so many episodes of it with him that the actors all seem like actual acquaintances. Recently I saw where a Paul Young is running for some political office in our area, and I said he wouldn't have a chance because of this name. But maybe not that many watch the housewives.
