The special offer Triple Play is being offered by Verizon in New York. The triple play provides Verizon customers with TV, internet and voice services. With the introduction of FiOs in central New York, Verizon is offering the FiOS triple play of Internet, TV and voice services to some 50,000 homes in parts of Clay, North Syracuse, East Syracuse, Cicero, DeWitt, Camillus, Salina and Fleming.
By the end of October 2009, Verizon plans to expand the availability of its high tech FiOs to approximately 12,000 additional homes. By the end of the 2009, with the approval of pending franchise agreements, Verizon plans to have FiOs service available to almost 100,000 homes in the region.
Verizon is the company behind FiOS TV, which is the nation's largest digital, fiber optic network. This network will be offering more than 600 channels in New York - these channels include 121 high-definition channels in the central New York area which gives customers more HD channels than the California region's current cable provider, Time Warner.
Christopher Creager (Verizon president/general manager of the Northeast region made the following announcement in light of this expansion)
"Consumers in these communities at long last have a better choice for TV," said). "We've had great success in many other parts of the state. Now it's time to bring FiOS TV to central New York and provide consumers in the region a choice that is truly different from the cable TV company."
"Our advanced 100-percent fiber-optic network was built for HD, and right out of the box we're making more HD channels available than Time Warner has provided after decades in the business. With all-fiber connections running straight to their homes, viewers get both high-definition and standard TV that is eye-popping."
Customers who have access to FiOS in their area are able to bundle FiOS TV service, FiOS Internet Service and the Verizon Freedom Essential's unlimited calling plan, for only $79.99 for the first six months. For more details on great FiOS deals visit bestispoffers.com.
