Todd Bentley is married to his wife Shonnah and together they have three beautiful children: Lauralee, Esther, and Elijah. Their home is in Abbotsford, BC, Canada but have since set up in office in the Lakeland, Florida area after the beginning of the Florida Outpouring that began on April 2, 2008.
To witness Todd Bentley in action is to behold a true marvel of God. First, you will see that Todd's appearance differs from that of the traditional preacher. His head is shaved, yet giving hint to the reddish hair that tints his beard, and if you look closely you'll notice several piercings, including a labret. His clothing is that of a biker and brings to mind the Hell's Angels. He forgoes traditional three piece tailored suits and neckties for jeans and tee-shirts. Yet, what might be more surprising than his appearance is the way he preaches. You see, if you were to judge Todd Bentley's preaching by the way he dresses, you would expect him to preach only to a modern day crowd- to a new generation that has been raised on MTV Cribs, Pimp my Ride, and American Chopper, however when Todd Bentley begins to preach you are instantly transported back in time, to a day when healing evangelists were first hitting the sound waves and television screens were for the first time bringing tent revivals to the American public.
In the spirit of A.A. Allen, William Branham, Jack Coe, T.L. Osborn and other healing evangelists from the forties, Todd Bentley preaches about a God that is activated by faith to work miracles in the lives of those who are sick, diseased, and at death's door (and even for those who have crossed over). It isn't hard to hear the voice of these evangelists as Todd preaches. One of the most impressive factors regarding Todd Bentley's ministry is the amazing miracles, signs, and wonders that accompany the preaching of the Word.
Todd Bentley has traveled extensively across the globe preaching salvation and revival while ministering healing. He has been to Europe, South America, Africa, and India before the beginning of the Florida Outpouring. His meetings drew large crowds and miracles were present. Today, the Florida Outpouring has seen countless miracles and over 20 resurrections from the dead.

Post a CommentAt this time, I need to publicly state that I believe that Todd Bentley is deluded at best and demon possessed at worst. I do not believe that he was used by the Holy Spirit during this revival, and that this "media revival" should have been left alone to dry up in a quick manner.
