Tortured Souls Series 2: The Fallen follows in the same footsteps as the first set of action figures. This is another set of six, beautifully crafted and highly detailed action figures, each of which is approximately six inches tall. With this release, however, McFarlane and Barker have unleashed a whole new line of torture and punishment, and this is what we will be examining.
The first Tortured Soul of the new series is Suffering Bob. He is the result of a twisted, failed experiment of trying to combine several different humans into one. Because of his new, hastily stitched together body, he is now a Tortured Soul; wearing a black leather mask to cover the anguish on what is sure to be a several mutilated face.
Feverish is the next Tortured Soul, and he takes the phrase "morbidly obese" to a whole new level. Bedridden, Feverish has no choice but lay on his back with the tubes in his mouth while being constantly tormented by a tiny, grotesque demon hanging from the equipment above.
Next we will take a look at Moribundi; a man who was sacrificed at the altar of science and technology. As a result, he stands perpetually still, attached to the altar by chunks of his own skinned flesh and the brain that has been partially removed from his head.
Camille Noir is the next Tortured Soul, this one a female. The flesh on her back has been pulled back as to resemble angelic (or demonic) wings, and a circular saw blade decorates her cranium.
Szaltax is a six limbed, mechanical spider-like creature, and the second female of this set. Various parts of her alien body are attached to large hoses that are filled with a bright green substance - making her one of the creepier looking Tortured Souls in the set.
The last figure of Tortured Souls Series 2: The Fallen is Zain; but he is in no way to be considered the least frightening of the group. He is strapped to a large, mechanical rigging and wrapped up in black leather.
