Get Ready with Some Costume Ideas for the Young Ones

Toddler Halloween Costume Ideas.

When we think of taking our children out Trick or Treating, especially our younger ones, we find its usually easier to do in a group. A fun thing that can be done therefore is to get with the other parents ahead of time and figure out some cute costume ideas. A few ideas are listed here.

Gummi Bears. We've seen the cartoon shows, and love the cuteness factor of bouncing hyper bears. They are already much like our children in that aspect. The costumes could be as simple as a bear costume with your child's favorite outfit on the outside, or as intricate as actually costuming as their actual favorite Gummi Bear. Even us parents can get in the fun of this, especially by pretending to try to get the Gummi Berry Juice from the little ones.

Care Bears. They are a symbol for kindness and caring, another bear type costume and if wanted just paint your child's favorite symbol onto the stomach, don't forget the white spot first! You can have your whole group of Care Bears going down the street trying to behave as best as possible and use their "Care Bear Stare".

Power Rangers, now normally this is more associated with the older kids, around ages 6-10 but sometimes our toddlers like to emulate older siblings, or relatives. You can have a wonderful time with this especially if you have a variety of age groups going on the Trick or Treat.

Some favorites though,

The Shrek Gang. Why not dress your young ones as their or your favorite Shrek persona? There's several to choose from and they can each look so very unique.

Princes and Princesses, Especially great if you have multi gender children of the same age. They can walk down the street even in pairs looking like real Princes and Princesses going to balls, or just over to the house for some good old candy.

Bugs, oh sometimes those creepy crawlies are very creepy, but often-times they make for highly adorable costumes! Ladybugs and Bees especially.

There are many costume ideas out there, especially if there is a group going together. Parents do not be afraid to dress up and enjoy trick or treating with your little ones. I guarantee the kids will get a kick out of it and you will probably find yourself having quite a bit more fun. Enjoy your Halloween, be something you aren't every day.
