1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
mix all ingredients together and spread in greased 13 x 9 inch cake pan (or double the recipe and put in a large jelly roll pan)
Bake for 10 or 15 minutes at 350 to 425 degrees (all ovens are different) bake until light brown.
Once done, immediately spread with chocolate chips (put back in the oven for about a minute, take out and spread chocolate chips to cover. Then sprinkle with ground nuts (I use walnuts ground fine). Cut when warm.
These will disappear before your eyes
They are great for holidays. Especially to cut small for the Christmas holidays.
