Tom Clancy's Endwar is Ubisofts entry into the console RTS game market. With its creative use of voice command and an innovative feature that allows each player to influence the outcome of a global conflict, many considered it to be the best hope for a well done console RTS.

In the sound category this game doesn't dissapoint. The game has immersive battlefield sounds that also add to the gameplay by giving you information. The previously mentioned voice commands also work well, allowing players to "train" it to work better with your voice. The voice commands allow players to feel in command and help provide and immersive and enjoyable experience, although it does take some getting used to. There is also the option to select either American or British accents.

This game also does a good job with its graphics. Although they aren't anything spectacular, RTS's aren't particularly known for eye-candy and they do look good, just not amazing (with the exception of weapons of mass destruction or WMD's). Night scenes are good looking and the weapons of mass destruction in the game are breathtaking.

This game is one of the more creative titles to come out lately. Although there isn't much groundbreaking about the actual gameplay, the controls are amazing and allow an unprecedented level of control for strategy games on a console. The multipayer for this game is also quite creative. Players choose one of the three factions and then pick a battalion to fight with. Each battle they participate in then counts towards their faction's defeat or victory. Players can also purchase upgrades as their units gain experience.

This game is a very fun game, it is easy to pick up but difficult to master. There is a combat chain in the game which is almost like rock-paper-scissors. Gunships beat tanks, tanks beat transports, and transports beat gunships. There are also rifleman and engineers which are both valuable in cover but vulnerabe in the open. Artillery is also valuable against all units as long as it is properly protected. The single player is fun, although it can be beaten very fast it can also be easily replayed due to the different strategies you can use by buying different upgrades. Although multiplayer can be a bit frustrating to begin at due to frequent losses, as you play you will improve and begin to upgrade your units which can help you to win.
