Rainbow six vegas has had alot of hype to live up to over the past year ever since it was announced to the public. Rainbow six has been very popular franchise on the PC and now on the Xbox and Xbox 360, It has become a very big multiplayer franchise. Rainbow six vegas is the first installment of the rainbow six franchise to use the next generation technology of the Xbox 360. I believe that this title defiantly has potential to live up to the reputation that Rainbow six 3 had on the Original Xbox over 3 years ago when it took the xbox live community by suprise as being one of the most popular multiplayer games in history.

With all of that said, You could say that vegas defiantly has some standards that it needed to live up to. Most rainbow six games lack in the single player department because not as much focus is spent in developing that part of the game. With Rainbow Six: Vegas, The single player campaign is very engaging and exciting when you compare it to the very dull and poorly put together single player campaigns of previous rainbow six titles. This suprised me to say the least. In Vegas, You play as Logan keller and you have to lead your team throughout different missions to take down Irena Morales, Who is planning terrorist attacks in the wonderful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The single player componet has defiantly changed from the old mission briefing screens to new intel briefing from your intel commanders, And helicopter rides to take you into the hot zones in which you will be engaging the terrorists in missions.

When you first pick up the controller to play Rainbow six: Vegas, You will see how similar it is in gameplay to the previous games in the serious. This is defiantly a plus because people who love the old games are defiantly going to like the way this game looks and feels. There is also a new "Cover system" added to the combat gameplay system in which you can take cover behind certain objects in the game, This defiantly comes in handy when you are being shot by terrorists or you need to make a suprise attack on a unsuspecting hostile. You can also now heal your fallen comrades by running up to them and pressing the appropraite button which really comes in handy for long missions in which you may run into more terrorist than you can handle.

The rainbow six series has always been known for its amazing multiplayer gameplay backed by a huge community of gamers. This is what i was most excited about when the game was first released. Rainbow Six: Vegas has been shipped with 10 multiplayer maps, 2 of these are the old classics, Killhouse and Streets. Just those 2 maps alone will make the multiplayer experience very exciting considering all of the old memories they will bring back from the older games in the series. All in all the multiplayer experience for rainbow six vegas is very familiar to older games in the series but there is many new additions in which will excite new games and experienced veterans. The multiplayer gameplay of Rainbow Six: Vegas will defiantly keep gamers entertained for years to come.

If your a fan of the rainbow six franchise this is a MUST HAVE game for you. You will defiantly be amazed by what the Xbox 360 can do with this game. The graphics are beautifal, The Audio is amazing, And the Gameplay and Longevity of this game will never get old, trust me. Its been a long time, But Rainbow six: Vegas shows us how this franchise will be here to stay and compete in the First Person Shooter world for years to come.
