Tom Cruise and Aliens, or was that a Bunker?

Shan-Lyn Forsythe
According to Celebrity news down the grapevine, Tom Cruise wants to start building a $10 million bunker underneath his Colorado mansion. The reason? He's preparing for the end of the world.

It's no secret that the 'Top Gun' star is a devout follower of Scientology, as we've all witnessed of late. Or is this passé news? Oh but wait, just when we're all getting use to the idea, Tom surprises us with more entertainment. He now believes that the evil inter-galactic ruler Xenu will attack planet Earth and so - to play it safe - has designed a hideaway place underneath his Colorado mansion.

Let's get the popcorn and soda pop.

According to America's Star magazine: "Tom is planning to build a $10 million bunker under his Telluride estate. It's a self-contained underground shelter with a high tech air-purifying system where up to ten people can survive for years".

Science fiction writer L.Ron Hubbard (Scientology's founder), has claimed that extra-terrestrial beings have been sent to planet Earth by an intergalactic ruler named Xenu. (Wait, it gets better). Xenu then pulled a fast one by destroying the aliens with hydrogen bombs in a volcano. The supposed souls of these deceased aliens then attached themselves to vulnerable chosen humans, known as "Thetans", awaiting their salvation.

Tom Cruise is a loyal follower of scientology and has been proclaimed by leaders of the bizarre sci-fi cult as the "chosen one" who will spread the word of this pseudo-religion.

The forty-five-year-old actor is presently in Berlin, Germany filming a World War II drama, called 'Valkyrie'. Whilst there, wife Katie Holmes and 17-month-old daughter Suri have joined him. However, his adopted children - Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old son Connor, with his first wife Nicole Kidman, are said to have stayed the summer at a Scientology camp.

If he didn't have such pretty eyes, he may not have any redeeming qualities left.
