The video is called "Tom Cruise on Tom Cruise: Scientologist" and that is exactly what this video is. It is Cruise talking about Scientology in himself and in the world.
Tom Cruise starts off by talking about what it is like to be called a Scientologist. He says that it is a "privilege" to be called a Scientologist and that you have to earn the right to be called one. He then goes on to say that when he read about Scientology he knew right away that that was what he believed in.
He also says that being a Scientologist means that you have the power to change lives. Saying that if a Scientologist drives by a car crash they have to do something, because they are "the only ones who can really help."
Midway through the video Tom Cruise has this rant:
"We are the authorities of getting people off drugs. We are the authorities on the mind. We are the authorities on improving conditions. We can rehabilitate criminals, way to happiness, we can bring peace and unite cultures. Once you know these tools and once you know they work it is not good enough that I am doing ok."
Cruise obviously believes that Scientology is the be-all, end-all of human existence. And that is evident in what he says there. He believes that Scientology and only Scientology can solve all of the world's problems.
Cruise also busts out a very crazy laugh about 3 or 4 minutes into the video that will make the last people who think Cruise has a shred of normality left to abandon that thought altogether.
This video was probably pulled from YouTube because it does not show Tom Cruise in a very good light and it does nothing to help the ridicule of the beliefs of Scientology.
Cruise does not make much sense during his ramblings and he does not explain anything about Scientology well. This video was probably pulled because it was detrimental to Scientology in the fact that more people will believe that Tom Cruise is crazy after listening to his speech and people thinking Cruise is crazy is bad for the Scientology business, because he is their number one spokesperson.
The rumors say that Scientologists pulled this video from YouTube and if they did, they seem to have good reason to have done it. What makes Tom Cruise look bad makes Scientology look bad.
