Tommy Hilfiger Gets Escorted Off the Oprah Winfrey Show (Rumor)

Casey C
The rumor that Tommy Hilfiger was escorted off the Oprah Winfrey Show has been cleared up. The rumor was that Tommy Hilfiger made some racial remarks about his clothing line. The rumor was that Tommy Hilfiger said if he had known African-Americans, Asians, Jews, or Spanish people were purchasing his clothing; he would of not sold it. The rumor was he stated his clothing line was for upper class white people.

Someone started the rumor by saying Tommy Hilfiger was on the Oprah Winfrey show when he made these statements. After friends heard of the rumor, they notified Tommy. Tommy didn't believe the rumor at first. He hired private investigators to find out who started this rumor and he spent thousands of dollars trying to find out who started them. The investigation ended at a college but they were unable to find out where the rumor came from or whom it came from.

Many people upon hearing this rumor refused to purchase Tommy Hilfiger clothing. Many people thought Tommy was a racist. People were getting this information over the Internet. This rumor has been going on around for years. Tommy who has never been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show was invited to be a guest on her show to clear the rumor up. It was proven that this rumor was just a rumor. A rumor someone had started as a joke. Tommy took this very serious and tried hard to find the person or persons who started this rumor to no avail. When people read things on the Internet, they need to be more aware of how many people are on the Internet playing these games. This could have potentially made Tommy Hilfiger lose many customers. His sales could have plummeted. Before people believe everything they read on the Internet and when they hear rumors like this, research it more first before just believing. Tommy Hilfiger is a man who has worked hard to get where he is today.

Tommy has four children, after this rumor the kids were questioned in school by other peers. So for the person who started this rumor it didn't just affect Tommy, it affected his children as well. If people who heard this rumor no longer purchase Tommy Hilfiger clothing, I would suggest you do. This was all just a nasty rumor, someone who was trying to ruin a man who worked hard to get where he is today. Tommy is not a racist man, his clothing line is for all kind. I hope in the future this person is caught and they pay for the heartache they caused for others.

Then can you explain to me why oprah asked him to leave the set? I watched the show and it seemed to me that was the reason.
