"Tommy the Turkey"

NANCY CZERWINSKI
Tommy the turkey was in love
With the young lady down the hall
He'd walk passed her every day.

She'd smile sweetly and then look away
What could a turkey do for love
His heart ached in a terrible way.

She liked the little turkey that lived down the hall
Tommy was better than him by far
What could he do to catch the eye of the lady down the hall.

He walked passed her as she looked away
He might as well be part of the wall
All she wanted was the little turkey down the hall.
