Tomorrow the World Comes to an End

I am here this morning to say goodbye. Tomorrow at this time, the air will be filled with the sounds of trumpets. Doomsday, Judgement Day is upon us.

As you know tomorrow, May 21, 2011, 6:00 pm, Jesus is coming back. Since no one is sure where the Lord stands as far as the Internet is concerned, with all the porn that is marketed in there, it is safe to assume that it will shut it down or send it to hell along with other Osama Ben Laden and maybe Dominique Strauss-Khan, the French head of the IMF. Therefore, I may not be able to communicate with you.

What is sure, as per Rev. Harold Camping, of Family Radio, is that the World has aged 7,000 years since Noah boarded the Ark, and since God destroyed the world's population, in a massive water flood, because of its unrepentant sins. Then God gave us the chance to re-populate, but seven thousand years later, we are sinning worse than before. So, it is time to put an end to the failed human experiment and to send a massive earthquake tomorrow that will start in New Zealand, last 24 hours, and destroy each time zone on the planet at ex-act-ly 6:00 pm., local time. You know what, that must be true, because such precision can only be of God's doing, or of Hollywood's special effects.

The 89-year old preacher, arguably tired of life, ascertains that Jesus will come to remove the justs from the sinners, the good ones from the bad ones, the bread-eaters from the apple-eaters. This is to wonder, what exactly Christ will intend to do with those who have never heard of him such Kim Chi Wong, a 64-year old Chinese woman whose only task in life has been to be a terrific mother, an exemplary wife, and a model employee, but who was brought up under Mao's communism and never heard of Christianity. Did Jesus discuss these technicalities with Muhammad, Moses, Baron Samedi, Krishna and the other big guys of the other religions who also have good-hearted, hard-working clients on this planet? If so, why did he decide to go alone at the business of destruction and retribution? Would that be a repeat of the politics of "If you are not with me, you are against me"?

So many questions, so few answers. But what is sure is that when you get up there, at the gate, there will be two entrances. On the right side, painted on the door will be pictures of angels and archangels, around ordinary people dressed with long robes, playing harps and other slow classical musics, drinking purified water, walking slowly, saluting each other politely, and who never has any good gossip to say about each other. This is for eternity.

On the left side, there will be the entrance of a huge, overpopulated tavern-like place. The music will be loud, the noise level will be intolerable, fire will be over the place, men will be groping women, people will be dancing all day long, fights will broke out, gunshots will be heard, and every night at the evening news, there will be plenty of items of murder, cheating, and depravation. This will also be for eternity. Please, look for me on the left side; I will be there. I just don't like harp music and long white robes.

I can tell you, despite all the annoyances, the bills, the taxes, the traffic jams, the road tolls, the famines, the wars, the knee pains, and Kaddafi, life on Earth is kind of fun. So, if tomorrow, the Savior chooses to leave a few of us behind, not in an Ark, but maybe in the shuttle Discovery, safe from earthquake, I am a taker, ready to stay behind.

Jesus said, "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows." (Mark13:32). So far, Barbara Walters and Larry King have not been able to interview the Father, how did Harold Camping did it?
