Tonight You're Mine, by Charlene Thompson

A Review

You know the cliche, "One Shouldn't Judge a Book By it's Cover?" Well when I picked this book out I didn't realize how interesting it would be. I thought about what it could be. Like maybe someone is drowned and they come back to life to catch their assailant. Any way the book has nothing to do with that. Actually the book takes place in my hometown of San Antonio, TX. I was actually shocked by the accuracy of the places in the book, except the University. I'm not sure what it would be like in there. What I mean by that, is the faculty offices there. I was a student there, but never visited their offices.

This story is really a mystery suspense story. It really kept me turning the pages trying to guess who the bad guy is. The story is about a woman who is plagued by the death of her ex-lover. She misses him dearly. People around her start dying, especially those who hurt her feelings or someone in competition with her. She wonders if her ex-lover is still around trying to protect her or is someone else around stalking her.

I do believe that this was one of the books that I made sure to read till I was done. I think that it was very suspenseful and very intriguing. I did however not like the romance in it, but it helped set the story up and made you understand her yearning for him. Also, the descriptions are very elaborate and made you envision being where she placed the characters. I give this book a thumbs up and recommend that others read it.

I really enjoy writing. I also have been doing a lot of healthy cooking for myself. I have been making an effort to work on my writing once again. I hope you enjoy.  View profile
