Mix Together Two Songs at Once

Mottor
The music industry has long been on the receiving end of a lot of amazing inventions. Many of these inventions have made it easier for them to record their music and get it out to the public. Also, there always seems to be a large abundance of new musical instruments hitting the market that promise to deliver better sound and performance. For those who are producers and disc jockeys (DJs), they will tell you that nothing beats a "technological-boosted" recording studio. However, a company is trying to change this belief through introducing a portable digital music player that allows you to mix music on the go.

The Pacemaker is considered the world's first portable digital music player that allows you to mix two songs together live. This gives the user the ability to do the same exact thing that DJs do with a pair of turntables. What we have here is a somewhat bulky digital music player that has a 120-gigabyte hard drive that is capable of storing up to 30,000 songs. In order to browse through these songs, you simply move your finger around a circular touchpad. The touchpad is very similar to the touchpads that you can currently find in any of the iPod's that are on the market today.

Now back to what makes the Pacemaker so damn special. The gadget allows you to browse through your songs and select two songs that you want to mix together. Once you have chosen your songs, the mixing process is ready to begin. The Pacemaker will allow you to speed up or slow down the any pair of songs. By slowing or speeding up the songs, you will be able to match the beats of each song and adjust the pitch. This will allow you to mix the songs so that they are on the same key. The entire process is easier said than done and takes a little practice to get used to if you are not a professional disc jockey in your spare time.

The Pacemaker will allow those who are disc jockeys to play with music on the go. They will no longer need to go to a studio or take our their turntables to mix two songs together. Some DJs may complain that they want the ability to mix more than two songs together. The goal of the makers is to get to a point where several songs can be mixed together at once. However, the Pacemaker is far ahead of the game already. This is an amazing device that is the future of mixing music. Everyone is seeking convenience and the Pacemaker delivers true convenience and artistic freedom on the go. The only knock will be the price, at nearly $850.
