Seven years after the release of the original Tony Hawk pro skater, Activision has created the best game in history .Tony Hawks Project 8 is the newest and greatest of many of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. This game is one of the greatest games I've ever played and I'm not just talking about skateboarding games. During the course of this game you really feel like your skateboarding and you never want to put this game down. Project 8 uses next generation graphics and physics to make this as real as it gets, and makes you feel like you are outside skateboarding. These graphics are outstanding. This game has no loading screens and is one gigantic map that you can ride anywhere you want to. I love this game because of how there are no levels and its all one big map, but you must unlock certain areas by beating certain pros and their challenges.
The story to this game is great. You start off as a self made character and you must work your way up to become on Tony Hawks Project 8 Team. You first start on your block and must perform and do certain tricks to open the gate to the outside world. This is really great because you learn mostly everything you need to know in the beginning of the game, you also learn new things as pros and their challenges teach you. During the course of the game you encounter at least 10 pros whose challenges are quite challenging. You not only encounter pros but also citizens, photographers, workers and even security guards who all have silly and fun things for you to do on your skateboard. With a brand new control coming into the game called "Nail the Trick" it makes the game even better. This new control put things in so motion and lets you control the players feet so you can create your own tricks. Once you get to know how to do this its great and you can create your own tricks. As you go own and unlock new areas the challenges start to become harder and harder, but it made me want to play it even more. The final challenge in this game is to skate a demo with the one and only Tony Hawk. This was definitely one of the most fun challenges in the game. I am now rated number 4 on Tony's Project 8 team. It was definitely an accomplishment and I felt great after I saw my name on the team list.
This game is one of the best games available now and I still play it well after I beat it. This game will be played for years and will go down in history.

(look at my zelda reveiw if u didnt get my message)
I'd have to disagree. Tony Hawk games have been going downhill since pro skater 4. THUG2 was good, but in the end it was just average. Project 8 was plagued with problems and smells something foul for PS3.
