Tonya's Fall Berry Smoothie Recipe

A Healthy Morning or Afternoon Snack

Tonya Hillukka
Smoothies may take a bit of time to make, but they make great afternoon pick-me-ups. Plus, they're healthy. This smoothie recipe is great for fall; it contains lots of berries, but I added some yogurt and cranberry juice to take away from some of the tartness.

Fall Smoothie Ingredients

12 oz. your favorite frozen berries (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry...)
1 c. your favorite berry flavor yogurt (I used raspberry)
1 c. your favorite cranberry juice (cranberry apple, cranberry raspberry...)
1/4 c. milk
Honey to sweeten, if desired

Fall Smoothie Directions

Begin by blending part of the berries with the juice until smooth. Add the rest of the berries and finish blending. Then add the yogurt, milk, and honey. Blend the entire mixture until smooth. Add more juice for a thinner smoothie or more yogurt for a thicker one. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!

Now if you'll excuse me while I go finish my smoothie...
