When looking for a sandwich for lunch it is important to choose a restaurant that serves fresh ingredients. In my search for a great sandwich place I have found only one in the Portland, Oregon area.

Tony's Bistro

6400 SE Lake Road

Milwaukie, Oregon 97222

503-353-8900

I discovered Tony's Bistro when my husband and I were leaving a doctors visit at the local physical therapy clinic.

Tony's Bistro sandwiches are fresh and made with delicious ingredients. On the menu for just $5.75 you can choose from Roast Beef, with and without cheese; roast Beef, turkey and Cheddar; Roast Beef, Ham & Swiss cheese; Turkey; Ham; Tuna; Corned Beef; with Sauerkraut or without; Corned Beef, Pastrami & Jack Cheese; Cotto Salami, Italian Salami; Pastrami; Braunschweiger; and Veggie are all on the list.

Tony's Bistro also serves Salads such as Macaroni; Cole Slaw; Potato; German Potato Salad; and tossed Green Salad; Caesar Salad; tuna salad and Chicken Salads. All within the price range of $1.50 to $5.95.

If salad or sandwiches are not what you have a taste for then try Tony's Bistro Soup or Chili at $3.00 cup or $3.25 a bowl. If your appetite is small then chose ½ Sandwich with a cup or bowl of soup or chili.

Tony's Bistro also has specialty sandwiches for just $6.20. Choose from a Hoagie; Crab Bagel; Meatball; French Dip; Reuben' garden Burger. If there isn't enough time to enjoy Tony's Bistro nice Italian Décor then choose a Box Lunch for just $8.25 which includes a Deli Sandwich, Salad Fruit and a Cookie.

Tony's Bistro not only uses the freshest of ingredients but the décor makes the restaurant comfortable and actually very nice to unwind and enjoy your lunch.

Sounds great, kind of like a place we have here that makes their own bread, the name escapes me, however.
