Too Many Things to Do? - Here's a Tecnique to Avoid the Stress and Produce Feelings of Satisfaction

Ronald Franks
So many things to do - how can you ever do them? Where should you begin? Such thoughts can overwhelm a person, even paralyze one, so that one does nothing and then one is plagued with even further agonizing, guilty thoughts with then consequential negative feelings. Should you discover yourself in such a condition here is the thinking you can use to rise out of it into definite action with the resulting good feelings which follow productive activity.

When you notice thoughts and their accompanying stressful feelings of being overwhelmed with all the things you would like to do and feeling as though you do not have the time to do them all, you can recognize that whereas you certainly may never do them all, you certainly can do one of them right now: so choose the one thing you feel is most important and do just that one thing in the present moment. By making that wise choice and following through with action on it, you will have done all that was possible to do. You will have realized your full potential in the matter. This will give you a great feeling: as realizing one's full potential in doing anything provides a very satisfying feeling. What a nice, wonderful gift to give yourself and how wise you are in doing so. Congratulations, truly.

By practicing this mindfulness moment to moment, you are fully able to efficiently and effectively use each and every moment to produce good feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment. And, you are free from any negative and health-harmful thoughts and feeling of stress, worry and lost opportunity.

The above are wonderful benefits flowing out of a vigilant awareness of what you are thinking and feeling. By doing this you are able to experience the joy of what you desire to experience rather than what you do not desire.

Just remember to pay attention to your thoughts and you will automatically take appropriate action. If you get lazy and forget to watch your thoughts, at least watch your feelings; as they follow your thinking, and will readily reveal to you that, in the least, you were thinking thoughts which did not serve you: then you can turn your attention to thoughts which do serve you and feel great again. The more you practice such a state of Mind, the more Good will flow into your experience of Life. As you contemplate all that comes to you, you will feel grateful and this vibrational energy will attract even more good into your experience and around and around you go in a circle of endless bliss.

What you have done by following the above high thought is to exchange your feeling of being overwhelmed with too many things to do, for the feeling of being overwhelmed with all the Good that is available for you to experience. And it just doesn't get any better than that - does it?
