Top 10 Animated Movies (Films) of All Time

An Opinion of One Avid Movie Watcher

Aimee E
I love movies, especially animated films. From classic Disney animated films, to ones that were even released this year. Here, I have compiled my top ten animated movies. In making this list, I took into story line, vibrancy and color, sound track, and general feeling I felt after watching the film. Many have amazed me, particularly the older films. Some, like Fantasia seemed odd to me as a child, but now looking back, I have discovered the brilliance and imagination put into it. So without further adieu, here are my top ten animated films of all time (in no particular order):

1. Madagascar

2. Finding Nemo

3. Alice In Wonderland

4. The Heffalump Movie

5. The Jungle Book

6. Robin Hood

7. Ratatouille

8. Toy Story

9. Fantasia

10. Mickey's Christmas Carol

Honorable Mention: Well, I have to include some series and short-films. Any of the Peanuts stuff I really like, as well as an old Disney film called Amos and Me. Of course, while not truly animated (only in character and spirit) the Muppets also have some very entertaining films with memorable songs. Did I forget to mention one or do you have a particular favourite that did not make it onto the list? Please let me know as I love to discuss animated movies with fellow movie watchers.

yes you should absolutely watch some japanese animes.
Like castle in the sky or ponjo or Spirited Away (the best anime in my opinion)

I'm sorry but do you live in a cave? Were is the Lion King? Pinnochio? I don't even think Madagascar is a Disney movie, and why the heck is The Heffalump Movie and Mickey's Christmas Carol up here? There are a ton of Disney movies that are better than these movies.

Obviously, your world is limited to low quality American animation. You should broaden your horizons and try the masters of the art: I'll give you a hint, they're all Japanese.
