One. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Located at Universal Studio's City Walk in Orlando, Florida, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville offers up a thick juicy burger at the right price. With a pleasant Caribbean atmosphere and island music, Margaritaville is the prefect place to stop for lunch. Come for the burger; stay for the margaritas.
Two. Mythos. Located inside the Islands of Adventure theme park, Mythos dazzles the eyes as well as the taste buds. Their burger is served with two kinds of tomatoes and it is always cooked to perfection. The setting is as thrilling as the Islands of Adventure theme park itself. One caveat - bring a jacket, because Mythos's management likes to keep the place a little too cool.
Three. Rainforest Café. With locations at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and in Downtown Disney, Rainforest Café serves up one of the tastiest burgers in Orlando, Florida. You'll feel like you're eating in the Amazon while elephants and gorillas come to life all around you. You'll also experience a thunderstorm. Don't worry, you won't need an umbrella. Just your American Express, because some menu items (not the burger) are overpriced.
Four. Raglan Road. Also at Downtown Disney, you'll find Raglan Road, an authentic Irish pub with great drinks and even better food. Their fada burger is under ten bucks, but you can only find it on the menu during lunch. So head over to Raglan Road during the day.
Five. House of Blues. For a delicious thick and juicy New Orleans-style burger, head over to House of Blues. Located near Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney, House of Blues serves surprisingly good food in a laid-back atmosphere. Get there early, before the live tunes to avoid the crowds.
Six. Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café. Tommy Bahama dishes out some great fashion. But they make a hell of a good burger, too. Located at 9101 International Drive in Orlando, Florida, Tommy Bahama's Tropical Café offers a wide menu at the right price. Just avoid the booths - they're not very comfortable.
Seven. The Plaza Restaurant. In the Magic Kingdom, there are several places to get burgers, but only one that is really worth while. The Plaza Restaurant looks like an old-fashioned ice cream shop. But along with their thick milk shakes and hearty sundaes, they serve up a pretty good burger. Just drop by and give your name early so you can get a table.
Eight. Mimi's Café. Mimi's Café offers three Orlando area locations, including one right across from the Millenia Mall. Their burgers are huge. In fact, if you have a small mouth, you may want to stretch your jaw a bit before heading in to Mimi's Café. The great thing is they're inexpensive, so you won't feel all that bad leaving some behind.
Nine. Olivia's. Located at Disney's Old Key West Resort, Olivia's serves up a terrific burger in an authentic Florida Keys setting. If you're not making it any farther south than Orlando, give Olivia's a try. Casual and inexpensive.
Ten. Big River Grille & Brewery Works. Want a beer with your burger? Then there's no better spot than right on Disney's Boardwalk at the Big River Grille & Brewery Works. Sure, they serve great burgers. But even better is their micro-brewed suds. And best of all, they let you sample.
