He blamed other high-profile (or should I say "higher" profile) births for flooding the market. Because of the lack of attention, Samuel Jason deserves to be in my top 10 celebrity babies list.

She shares the same birth date and birth hospital as Suri. Ironically, a year ago Scientologist Tom Cruise publicly criticized Brooke for dealing with postpartum depression with medication. Scientologists don't believe in psychiatry or medication for depression. Today, Shields and Holmes appear to be good friends.

Mei Lan: Born to Lun Lun and Yang Yang (Giant Pandas) in Zoo Atlanta on September 6, 2006.

Why is Mei Lan the Giant Panda one of the top 10 celebrity babies of 2006?
Mei Lan is one of five giant panda cubs born in an American zoo in the last six years. Lun Lun was artificially inseminated in March, since zoo officials decided she and Yang Yang would not breed due to "behavioral inexperience." According to Zoo Atlanta (www.zooatlanta.com) between "1,600 and 3,000 giant pandas" live in the wild with 185 living in captivity. Following Chinese tradition, Mei Lan was named 100 days after her birth. Her name translates to "Atlanta Beauty."
