Top 10 Celebrity Blogs

With so many blogs on the internet today it is hard to choose just one that has a special interest to dwindle down the hours of the work day. Here are some of my favorite celebrity blogs that will either keep you informed or keep you laughing throughout your free time each day. There is no specific order to the list, just my top favorites.

1. Michael Moore

I would hope by now everyone has either heard of or seen a movie by controversial film-maker Michael Moore. He is the developer and creator of Sicko, Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, and his latest Capitalism: A Love Story. His website has background information and things that was discovered while creating some of his masterpieces along with other information dealing with "America's issues". My favorite part of this celebrity website is the "Do Something" section which helps teach followers how to get more involved.

2. Margaret Cho

Always America's favorite Korean American comedian that stretches the lines of normality and her parents' conservative upbringing, Margaret Cho always has something to say about everything on her personal website. It includes satirical videos that she has done personally and/or videos that records important events in her personal life. I personally love the videos and her tweets that are directed to this main website.

3. Taylor Swift

Even though country singer cutie, Taylor Swift, has a busy schedule she almost always has the time to write to her fans on her personal website blog. She does not write very often however the site is done by her and her entries are supposed to be written by none other than herself again. If you are a fan of her music or just want to see what is going on in her life, check out her website. She usually blogs about things that are going on in her life or important things that she feels she should remark on at that moment in time.

4. Mark Cuban

Man of you might not be aware of who Mark Cuban is however Wikipedia.org states he "is an American billionaire entrepreneur. He is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, an NBA basketball team, and Chairman of HDNet, an HDTV cable network." Forbes Magazine marked him as #296 on Forbes' List of the "World's Richest People". He is a celebrity in his own right in the business profession and has been part of many of the company products that we use daily. Not only is he wealthy however he also has a wealth of information on his personal website that he blogs in just about weekly. Topics are widely spread however usually have something to deal with promoting healthy business practices. My favorite of the last few is about unpaid interns and how it is illegal in America to not pay an intern.

5. Moby

I have to admit that up until a few years ago I have no clue who Moby was until I stepped into a classroom where all the other students were mentioning that the student teacher looked just like Moby. Later I found out, and I hope you do too, that Moby is a wonderful musician, DJ and songwriter. He is also a known vegan, humanitarian and philanthropist, so I love to read some of his journal entries dealing with these special issues.

6. Rosie O'Donnell

If you have ever heard of Rosie O'Donnell you will not be surprised to find out that she has a personal blog that she keeps up with religiously. It is hard to go a week without a comment from her blog hitting the gossip columns so readers know that the content must have some sort of interest. The site has many things but I especially love how she has added an Etsy.com account on the site to increase sales for her non-for-profit organization called Rosie's Broadway Kids. Another great feature is the section that anyone can "Ask Ro" a question about anything. Seeing that Rosie is a comedian, her answers usually give a great laugh to the reader and keep you coming back for more.

7. Perez Hilton

Perez Hilton has been pinned by many different media venues for being one of the top celebrity gossip sites on the web today. I have to admit that I am looking at the site everyday to get not only celebrity gossip but other information about organizations that help those in need, personal dialogue from Perez and other personal blog entries about things that are going on in his life at the moment. 8.Roseanne Barr

Growing up in the 1980's Roseanne Barr was constantly on our television screen with her then famous television show, Roseanne. Although many of the times I think that she has gone insane or is completely drunk, she does have an interesting website that keeps me scratching my head and wondering "why or why?" Seeing that HBO is coming out with first time in 14 years an exclusive HBO comedy special called "Roseanne Barr: Blonde and Bitching" I image her website is going to get even more wild and crazy. It contains videos, blog entries written by her, and of course merchandise of her original designs.

9. Zach Braff

You might recognize Zach Braff as the nerdy doctor on the television series called Scrubs. He also has written and produced a film called Garden State a few years back. His website has not been updated with journal entries in a while however he usually keeps current with things of interest in his personal and professional life. He has a ton of videos of interest and information on how to help produce his next film. You will also notice there is always music that he is currently listening to on a special player.

10. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian became famous for her personal life and after years of trying to get into the business finally reached her success story when she got a reality television gig. Her website includes personal entries mainly dealing with information about herself and other things in her life at the moment.
