Top 10 Celebrity Scandals of the Decade

Here is a list of all the scandals from 2000-2009. You would think that they would prepare better by recognizing they all involve sex, drugs and thefts. Ummm maybe we all secretly would like to copulate and get high if given enough money but I would hope we would not steal expensive cloths from Saks.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren

The number one biggest scandal of the decade and in history is Tiger Woods infidelity to his wife Elin Nordegren. This was a blockbuster to end the decade as Woods had a one-car crash in front of his house the day after Thanksgiving that's still unresolved. Out of that wreck came 11 women and counting that claim to have had sex with the married golf superstar. Right now there seems to be no end in sight as Tiger has cancelled this years tour and remains sequestered in his home in Florida. Rumor has it that Elin has purchased a million dollar mansion on an island in Swizterland and has moved in.

Jon and Kate Gosselin

This scandal was a real beauty with the Gosselin's and their eight children from a hit realty show "Jon and Kate Plus Eight". Jon and Kate started growing apart and then separated. With ratings zooming they filed for divorce after Jon was caught dating younger women. Later it has been said that Kate was seeing her bodyguard who took his job a little to far. Anyway the show was cancelled and they got divorced.

Michael Jackson

In 2005 Michael Jackson was arrested and charged with molesting a 13 year old boy whose family was staying at the Neverland Ranch in California. A media circus of a trial was held with Michael arriving late everyday and even in his pajamas at one point. But justice prevailed and he was acquitted.

After the trial Michael was forced by the media to find refuge internationally and left the United States with his three children. After no Michael or music he returned home with his finances in disarray and planned a 50 gig tour to start in England but Michael died in June 2009 from a drug overdose.

Chris Brown and Rihanna

This years Grammy's was the background for a fight between Rihanna and Chris Brown. Rihanna was beat-up and Chris was charged with assault and criminal threats.

This has derailed and frustrated Chris's career, but Rihanna has gone on to be bigger then ever. Let that be a lesson men, beating on your woman is a bad mistake for lots of reasons.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

In 2005 Brad and Angelina started their new movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Jen and Brad broke up shortly after and it is widely believed Angelina was the cause. Brad and Angelina both denied these reports but Angelina later admitted they feel in love on the set.

Denials finally stopped when Angelina announced she was pregnant with Brad's baby in 2006. The media is still feeding on this little triangle with Brad and Angelina being villains and Jennifer the innocent victim of Angelina's lust for her now ex-husband.

Roman Polanski

Found guilty of the statutory rape of a 13-year old girl in 1977. Roman fled to France before the judge could sentence him. Then in 2009 Roman was arrested by Swiss Police. Using the US warrant that was still outstanding against him while he was attending the Zurich Film Festival. Roman was extradited to the US to stand trial. Justice prevails even 32 years later.

Heath Ledger

Australian born Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription pills in 2008. Once again Hollywood is shocked after Heath had just finished his role as Joker in Batman. Ironically he received a posthumous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the Joker.

Once again Hollywood loses someone much to talented and young.

Winona Ryder

Talented and beautiful Winona Ryder is caught shoplifting 5 grand worth of merchandise at Saks in 2001. Talk about a psych case. This actress makes millions but loves the rush of stealing. Well that led to her conviction of felony grand theft and vandalism. She was sentenced to 480 hours of community service and had to pay restitution and fines.

Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake

There has never been a weirder scandal then this duo singing at half time of the 2004 Super Bowl. Just as Justin had belted out "I'm going to have you naked yet" he ripped off Janet's bustier and for about 1 second a national audience got a full frontal view of her right breast complete with nipple shield. Wow talk about a shocker!

CBS who was fined is still in court over this little faux pax.

Mel Gibson

In 2006 Mel got busted on a DUI charge but what really got him in hot water as his comment to the arresting officer "F***ing Jews..The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Then to make matters worse he was accused of calling a female officer "sugar tits" but that was later dropped.

Oh Mel you need to learn when to fold em!
