Top 10 Classiest Teen Celebrities

Teen Celebrities that Make Great Role Models

Meucci Cameron
Today's teens spend more time watching celebrities than they do talking with family members in their own homes. In fact today's teens can even talk directly to their celebrity role models through Twitter, FaceBook and other online social media outlets. It's important to find the right teen celebrities to follow if you want a good role model.

From how they dress to how they present themselves at public appearances, these teens made my top ten for celebrity teen role models.

Bindi Irwin
Bindi Irwin has proven herself to be not only one of the classiest teen celebrities, but also one of the most brave. Bindi Irwin met the death of her celebrity father Steve Irwin with dignity and grace. She plunged into the family business of saving wildlife and became a star herself. Smart, funny and courageous beyond her years, I can think of no better teen celebrity role model than Bindi Irwin.

Selena Gomez
This Disney teen celebrity has stayed out of trouble. The 17 year old even graduated high school on time this year. That may seem like a meager feat, but having to go to school through an on set tutoring system can't be fun. Having had little or no regular childhood, Selena Gomez has taken her stardom in stride. As part of the Disney machine, Gomez takes charity work seriously. She remains humble and gives thanks to her parents for helping her stay grounded through the fame.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has earned her celebrity status the old fashioned way, using her talent. While other teen celebrities in the music business get swept up in the lime light, Miss Swift has managed to stay off the cover of most tabloids. She handled the public scuffle she had with Kenye West with maturity and fairness. Taylor Swift even donated her prom dress to charity through the Hearst Corporation's DonateMyDress.org

Miranda Cosgrove
Miranda Cosgrove has already been honored by Variety's Power of Youth Initiative for her charity work. The "iCarly" star is reported to be the second highest paid teen on TV, according to a NY Post article. It's nice to see she is philanthropic with her earnings.

Dakota & Elle Fanning
The Fanning sisters have led an exciting life for such young ages. Dakota Fanning has been America's sweet heart since her first appearance on the big screen. Younger sister Elle seems to be a natural as well. Both young ladies take part in charity events around the country. Dakota has been raising money for Mattel Children's Hospital.

Emma Watson
Emma Watson is the epitome of a hard worker. Spending the last ten years of her life as Hermoine in the Harry Potter movie series, Miss Watson has barely had time for a social life. Between working and creating her own fashion designs for charity it's a wonder this teen role model gets any sleep. Emman Watson teamed with People Tree, an eco-friendly brand, to produce this year's spring/summer line.

Angus T. Jones
Don't let his onstage persona fool you, this young actor has his head together. Angus T. Jones has been acting since he was about six years old, but is still undecided as to a career. At the young age of 16, and with the end in sight for "Two and a Half Men", Angus is able to look at his future with open eyes. He seems like a confident teen with a raw talent for connecting to people. Jones may not look like a good teen role model on TV, but he plays one in real life.

Jaden & Willow Smith
With celebrity parents, life could have been rocky for Jaden and Willow Smith. Thankfully they happen to have two of the classiest celebrities as parents in Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Most recently the young brother and sister will be the ambassadors of Hasbro's Project Zambia, an organization promoting awareness of the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

Aaron Kelly
The recent American Idol hopeful Aaron Kelly showed the strength of his character throughout the show. Taking the judges criticisms every week without an argument. Kelly did not win the show, but he won the hearts and support of millions of viewers. He will likely have a career in music, and will hopefully continue to be a good celebrity role model for kids.

Dylan & Cole Sprouse
Lumping Dylan and Cole Sprouse together is nothing new for these twin brothers. Stars from a very young age, both Dylan and Cole have shown they love their fans and appreciate their support. The Sprouse twins do regular charity events and work with charitable organizations like Camp Ronald McDonald. Both Dylan and Cole seem to understand the meaning of "pay it forward".

This group of teens manage to keep work and social lives in balance. There are still teen celebrity role models out there, you just have to look for those few that are not being talked about on the news.

Good list. Have to disagree with Taylor Swift since she's now twenty and dates or hooks up with other famous celebs like John Mayer.
