Top 10 Destroyed in Seconds Episodes on Discovery Channel

The Discovery Channel has many great shows. Destroyed in Seconds is particularly is very intriguing show. The show is very simple. Destroy things. Quickly. Very Quickly. You will see planes blowing up in seconds, cars exploding, and even sinkholes! If it can be destroyed, you can expect it to be on this show! There are many episodes, but I'll give you the 10 best from the Destroyed in Seconds series and I will give you the general premise of each episode!

Episode 29

- Ever think of what a gas leak can do for a building? Well, blow it up! Ron Pitts (the host), introduces the leak - then allows it to create this massive fireball, which in turn destroys the building. Simply Amazing!

- You've seen race cars blow up into pieces. Now you'll see it in slow motion. The effects are amazing, which makes this segment even better!

- The viewer also takes a glimpse at an ATV blowing to bits as the driver attempts a back-flip (poorly, might I add!). Never seen this before, so it makes it worth watching the episode for this alone!

- In smaller segments, we see an unmanned plane head towards a large crowd. Add some fright, but not very suspenseful. Not the highlight of the episode, but still quite interesting.

Episode 30

- Something we don't see at NASCAR. Cars piling up - and blowing up! Very scary but entertaining.

- My favorite part of the episode. Floodwaters literally wash away 3 homes. Entertaining, but wouldn't want that to happen to anyone I know!

- My true fear: A chemical plant being blow up. Happens. I was very scared - might I add!

- Another scary scene. A man gets sucked into a jet engine. Don't want to ruin anything for you, but it's pretty friggin' cool!

Grade: 94/100

Episode 22

- So I guess a wet, slick road does mean hazardous conditions. Find out for yourself when you see this. Oh, cars do blow up too!

- Seen the movie Twister? This was scarier. F4 storm - really, really close to the chasers. Very scary but entertaining!

- You've seen it in cartoons, but they make it happen. Fire at the fireworks. Lots of explosions. Loved it.

- A tanker truck collapses a freeway as it loses control. Funny at first but wouldn't want this to happen to you!

Episode 23

- A good scene: An F4 storm rips through a town. Not for those with weak stomachs!

- A fire at a propane plant. Oh man. No good can come from that! There is? Big explosions!

- A GT race car blows to bits as it hits a barrier. Scary stuff!

Episode 31

- Once again, a propane plant explodes. Still amazing!

- A boat is sucked under a ferry. Scarier than it sounds! A must-watch!

- A race car dissentigrates and a boat is blown to bits. Can't go wrong with that!

Grade: 88/100

Episode 32

- Another cartoon cliché. A grenade drops and blows a bunch of things up. Well it comes true in this episode!

- A plane crashes close to a crowded baseball field. And you thought those planes were going the fly over the field, huh?

- We also see fireman fight fires and explosions. If you didn't love firefighters before, you will now!

- Crazy things do happen at farms. A silo falls on a tractor! My question is: how did they get that on tape?

Episode 33

- I love jets. Especially F18 fighter jets. I also love watching it crash land!

- A car crashes at 230 MPH while it gets off the ground! Very, very entertaining!

- A minute leak at a gas terminal leads to large explosions! Love it!

- I always wanted to ski until I saw this. A man makes a 100 foot jump and comes out in 1 piece. Amazing!

Episode 34

- A car explodes at 200 MPH. Still entertaining!

- An old college building collapses in Europe. A good excuse to skip class, huh?

- 40 foot waves + surfer. Need I say more?

- A firefighter survives the fire. Can he survive the church that is falling apart?

Episode 15

- Freight train vs. Semi-truck. Not as epic of a battle as a 'ninja vs. pirate' but it'll do. Oh, and there is an explosion. Guess who wins?

- A helicopter crashes on a mountain. Fun stuff.

- A car crashes into a truck. This is actually surprisingly scary.

Grade: 84/100

Episode 16

- A train crashes. You will see explosions you have never seen before. I promise!

- Chasers find and run away from an F4 hurricane! My question is: why would you go around and try finding one in the first place?

- This one was scary: A window-washing platform crashes into a building. Those guys are something else.

- A helicopter crashes at an airshow. Scary stuff man!
