Top 10 Dinosaurs & Monsters

The Jurassic Beaver Made the List

Tommy Hayfield
The Tyrannosaurus Rex is obviously a popular dinosaur...his neighbors Triceratops, and Stegosaurus are popular since they were known to scuffle like a Wooly Buffalo and a Wooly Mammoth...Mister Mammoth didn't make the list but he was close! The huge Brontosaurus who was possibly the biggest dinosaur of them all but missed the list but for not being fearsome enough for some people's liking...he was a grass-head meaning he ONLY ate grass. A kid's favorite the Jurassic Beaver was on the top ten list since he was a giant dam builder...he was last seen near the Hoover Dam in the 1950s and is rumored to have been involved in the giant dam's construction. Stiller's Sea Cow made the list--the giant swimming cow roamed the Atlantic Ocean near present day New York...a giant swimming cow--WOW! Also on the list are Godzilla, Mothra, and Monster X...these Pacific ocean dinosaurs--some call them simply monsters--are known to speak Japanese and can't be communicated to easily.

Here's my list.

Top Ten Dinosaurs & Monsters
1 Tyrannosaurus Rex...he's known as the king of the dinosaurs. His name means "tyrant king" and he was king..he was a mean one who often fought with his neighbor Triceratops.

2 Stiller's Sea Cow...he was a giant cow who floated in the Atlantic Ocean eating grass and stopping by the grocery store to deliver milk.

3 The Jurassic Beaver...he was seen around Hoover dam while it was under construction in the 1930s and was sighted in Nevada in the late 1960s. He has been rumored to be building dams in Western North Carolina.

4 Godzilla...the Japanese-speaking monster who appeared in 1961 after a long hibernation on the Pacific ocean island of Beiriu. He has often sparred with Monster X and Mothra who is my favorite!

5 Mothra...the giant moth who was eating sheep's wool out in the Pacific Ocean island and got really big--REALLY big. Radiation was also rumored to have caused his big growth spurt.

6 Monster X...he reappeared in 2004 due to diligent research by filmmakers who went in search of him...he's been caught on film fighting with Mothra and Godzilla.

7 Triceratops...he was caught on film in Jurassic Park though I don't know whether the footage was ever released. The Triceratops is known for his bony head-shield and three giant horns!

8 Pterodactyl...he was always known as a peculiar dinosaur because he was a flying bird. He was a GIANT flying bird with wings twenty feet across!

9 Godzilla...was a giant fire-breathing dinosaur revealed by Japanese researchers in the early 1960s...he has been revealed to be very confrontational and never backs down from a fight with a giant moth or even Monster X.

10 Stegosaurus...is a giant lizard with a horn-covered spine and a spike ball on his tail which he swings at other dinosaurs as a weapon. He's pretty tough looking!
