The right tunes do wonders for setting the mood. February 14 is Valentine's Day; a holiday that celebrates relationships, love and intimacy. Music is a great way to express love and even heighten intimacy. The following 10 love songs are perfect for Valentine's Day and romantic nights. What girl would not melt after hearing her man say something like this to her?

A great song about ups and downs of love and relationships.

3. Crazy Love - Van Morrison (1970)

In my opinion, this may be the best love song ever. Wonderful lyrics from beginning...

Whitney's version was done for the soundtrack to TheBodyguard. They are both wonderful singers and the song gives me chills every time. It's the saddest song on this Valentine's Day love song list.

5. I Want to Know What Love Is - Foreigner (1984)

A classic beautiful love song with wonderful lyrics.

6. We Belong - Pat Benatar (1989)

A great, rockin' tune for lovers, especially on Valentine's Day.

7. You're the First, the Last, My Everything - Barry White (1974)

The 'Walrus of Love' had a deep voice of seduction that produced this 'Barry' sexy track. My favorite line:

8. Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton (1977)

It's the perfect romance song to play on Valentine's Day.

"...And the wonder of it all Is that you just don't realize How much I love you."

9. At Last - Etta James (1961)

10. Up Where We Belong - Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes (1982)

From one of my favorite movies, An Officer and a Gentleman, this song goes perfect with the moment (at the end of the movie) when love is realized.
