There are many people who can't follow a diet because they are very sensitive and every negative event that happens in their lives makes them search for food. Thus, they eat to calm down when something very bad takes place. Some use to do it every time they are happy. Here are some of the most powerful feelings that can compromise your weight loss diet and make you gain weight:

1. Loneliness

When you feel very alone, the food may seem a good friend. You simply eat because you have nothing else to do. Instead of doing this, try to think about someone you can talk to. Go to places where you can make new friends and socialize. It will be much harder to do that later, when you'll try to lose weight.

2. Desperation

When you feel desperate and hopeless, you are tempted to believe that everything will get fine if you eat. If you want to feel good about yourself, try rather to help someone in need. This way you will feel useful and this will give you a sense of accomplishment.

3. Fear

Fear is the most uncomfortable feeling. There are people who eat more than usual every time they are afraid of something. If you're in this situation, analyze the reasons why you are afraid instead of eating. . At the same time, it is recommended to try solving your problems without falling into depression.

4. Disappointment

The food may seem a good refuge when you feel disappointed. Instead of eating everything you have in the fridge, use your disappointment to make a list describing what you really want from life and see what you can do to get some of the things on the list.

5. Frustration

When you're unable to find a solution to a specific problem, food can act like an analgesic. The fact that you're feeling frustrated makes you eat more and increases your appetite. Instead of eating, try to calm down and relax using breathing techniques, a short walk or a healthy sleep. After a short period of time you'll have a different attitude and you'll be able to be objective. It's much easier to solve problems and find solution when you are relaxed.

6. Anger

When you're angry, you may feel overwhelmed by this feeling and even scared of what you're feeling in that moment. Sit down, lie if you can or leave the room if there is someone or something that gives you negative feelings. Analyze the situation to find out what exactly made you so angry.

7. Self-hatred

People who don't feel good with themselves and their life may start thinking that the way they look matters the less. For this reason, they stop taking care of their appearance and eat unhealthy foods. Sometimes, food represents the only form of relief. Try to stay away from this feeling. Doubt and critical sense should be used n other purposes. Find out what steps you have to make in order to become the person you actually want to be.

8. Happiness

Not only negative feelings increase your appetite and compromise your weight loss diet. Sometimes eating more than usual is a good way to celebrate an event. However, you can celebrate and feel great by simply enjoying the moment. Call a friend and share your feelings with others.

9. Anxiety

Eating disorders usually occur because of anxiety. This feeling may seem unbearable. Sometimes you are tempted to think that by filling your stomach this unpleasant sensation will go away. In fact it would be better to search for other ways to relax. Think about a massage or a form of therapy.

10. Depression

When you're depressed, even getting out of the bed can seem terribly difficult. You have the feeling that if you eat something tasty everything will go away. After you eat, all you feel is exhaustion and frustration. Find other ways to get over it. You can pray, exercise, talk with someone who understands you or simply take a walk.

When you'll stop feeding your feelings, you'll find essential information about yourself. Learn to control your emotions and use them in your favor. The extra food you eat won't make you feel better. In addition, the fact that you manage to follow the diet will give you a feeling of gratitude.
