Funny Movie Review Blurbs

"Just Go With It" is the new Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy. If you aren't an Adam Sandler fan, you might find more humor in the reviews for Just Go With It than in the movie itself. The following top ten funny blurbs are really all you need to know...

"Just Go with It provides not only the title of the film but a one-step instruction for how best to enjoy it." Said by Bill Goodykoontz from The Arizona Republic. Other film critics have said similar things in regards to the title, but Goodykoontz says it in the context of a positive film review.

"On paper, Just Go with It looked like a perfect storm of suck, the unholy joining of B-list actors, a C-list director, and a D-list story line. And while the movie is still riddled with problems, it's far more entertaining than it has a right to be." Written by David Medsker of bullz-eye.com. This is another one of the few positive reviews for Just Go With It.

"If you have a masochistic desire to see unlikable morons on a vacation you probably can't afford, check out one of the worst movies in a long time, Adam Sandler's horrendous Just Go With It." Funny review submitted by BrianTT on Hollywood Chicago (www.hollywoodchicago.com).

"There's not much to be said about the majority of jokes here because my mother taught me not to poke at dead things." Said by Colin Covert of the Star Tribune.

"...Judd Apatow Lite, "Swimsuit Issue: The Movie," the "Grown Ups" antithesis, a shameless on-camera Hawaiian vacation..." Written by Mike Ward of Richmond.com. I think "Swimsuit Issue: The Movie" is my favorite alternate title for Just Go With It.

"...finds an excuse for Aniston to both play an average person and yet dress like a movie star." Review by Mike LaSalle, (San Francisco) Chronicle movie critic. Out of context, the review could go either way but this quote is part of positive review of Just Go With It.

"Frank Capra would puke." Reviewed by James Verniere of the Boston Herald.

"Just Go With It is so dispiritingly awful that responsible cinema staff should make audiences remove their ties and shoelaces on their way into the auditorium." Reviewed by Peter Bradshaw of guardian.co.uk.

"If they were showing this on an airplane, I'd ask for a parachute." Said by Richard Roeper. A little overdramatic, but gets his point across. Plus, it's funny.

"I inflicted this movie on myself and now someone's got to pay." Said by Andrew Ohehir of salon.com. In general and as a whole, Ohehir's review for Just Go With is my favorite read so far.
