The prices listed are the roundabout prices I've found while searching.
1. Track Pass- If you're a football fan, imagine being able to listen to Tony Dungy call plays to Peyton Manning through his helmet. That's what Track Pass does for NASCAR fans at the race. Track Pass allows the fan to listen to one of a number of drivers talk strategy with their crew. If he's wondering what his favorite driver's next move is in the final laps, there will be no more guessing- Track Pass will let him know! Costs for track pass are $64.95 per year.
2. Audio Scanner-If he's not at the race, maybe audio scanner is a better fit. Audio scanner lets your NASCAR fan use his digital radio tuner in the car tap into some of the play calls on the track. It's almost like being at the race in Bristol if you live in Darlington! $30 a year.
3. Products from the favorite racer's sponsor- If your NASCAR fan's favorite driver is Tony Stewart, you can help him support Tony Stewart by supporting Home Depot. Either way, every racer has a major sponsor, and purchasing products shows true support. Find out who's the driver's sponsor- you can do that just by looking at the car and race suit- and buy away!
4. Mini-Flag. While the NASCAR fan is at the race, he's gotta find other fans. With this mini-flag, all it takes a wave or twenty and he'll have all the friends in the world at the race. Perfect for young race fans as well. Around $15.
5. Mini-Hood. If there is a blank wall to fill, no doubt a mini hood of a driver's car can do it! These hoods come in a number of metals and designs, so there's quite a price range depending on how detailed you're willing to get. $40-$95.
6. NASCAR IMAX DVD. Even non race fans have given rave reviews for this stunning DVD. Presenting true racing from all angles and sounds, this IMAX production is full of race detail and THX surround sound engineering to make you feel not just part of the race, but sometimes part of the car itself! The full spectrum of NASCAR racing is touched within the movie, from the spirit of fan-hood to the science of drafting. Get it and you're almost guaranteed repeat viewing. $8-$15.
7. Bobblehead Doll- Bobblehead dolls come made for every fan, and that doesn't exclude race fans! Maybe he'd like a Darryl Waltrip Bobblehead doll on his dash, giving him confidence as he takes turn two onto work. Or maybe he's a fan of the King of NASCAR Richard Petty. A Bobblehead doll complete with big black hat would make him happy! All the NASCAR Bobblehead dolls come with drivers in full race gear and holding helmets so that you can see the extreme facial detail. $17-40.
8. Ear Muffs- For a simple gift, ear muffs should do the trick. Winter is coming around the corner, and most people don't wear ear muffs. But your NASCAR fan will proudly don them if he knows that his driver's number will be on display from both sides of his head. Keep 'em warm and keep 'em proud all at the same time! $20.
9. NASCAR Scene- If your race fan is a readin' man, NASCAR Scene is the premiere racing mag that takes a good look under the hood and finds the inner workings of a NASCAR team. A full subscription of 50 issues a year is $125, but I've seen them go as low as $59, which is almost half of the cover price. Get your NASCAR scene ready!
10. Fast Track Racing School- This might be for anyone who's ever even heard of NASCAR. Fast Track racing school puts you behind the wheel at so many different levels. If you want to just ride around as a passenger for three laps, you can hop in for $90. Or you can ride for 5 laps. Or 10. Or even take a day of race school. Or, for the ultimate alumni level, you can get professional training from 8 in the morning 'til 9 at night, complete with solo laps and tricks of the trade for around $2500. This is a NASCAR fan's dream!
