Dried Fruit
Dried Fruits are yummy because they have a natural sweetness to them without all that added sugar mess. They still taste like the fruit, too. They're good nutrition-wise and have fiber.
Real String Cheese
This one of my favorites and ensures that your child is getting some extra calcium and vitamin D when he/she needs it most while growing.
Celery Sticks or Carrot Sticks
These are good for fiber nd a good source of hydration as there is a good amount water in the veggie sticks. Plus, when you dip them, they're even more delicious. I suggest staying away from ranch.
Sunflower Seeds
Sunflower seeds were always fun because you could crack them open and then spit them out. My daughter loves to do this. It's her favorite part of the snack. She'll ask me to see who can spit them the farthest. I do understand that this is a little gross for some people, but as long as she's playing and having fun and not spitting at people or things, then I'm just fine with it.
Yogurt
I especially love the yogurt's with extra fiber and the digestive enzymes to help make my child regular. As a healthy snack choice, cherry and strawberry are always the preferred flavor. Try the Go-Gurt sticks and take them to go, or freeze them like a Popsicle on those hot days.
Granola
Whether it be in a bar, or as a cereal, it's delicious. Mix in some fresh or dried fruit or buy it prepackaged. Even Mom can snack on some granola without feeling bad about snacking.
Graham Crackers
Graham crackers make a good snack because they're still kind of sweet but they're not as bad for you as cookies and other things like that. My daughter loves to dip the cinnamon and honey graham crackers in milk as a healthy snack alternative. I have come to enjoy them myself.
Bite Sized Fresh Fruit
This is obvious. It's fresh. It's delicious. The only thing is that you need to cut it up so it's not so difficult to snack on. That's one of the reasons we don't always snack healthy. If it's too difficult to eat, then it's really not a snack we want! So, pre-cut it all into a salad or keep it separated and it promises to be an awesome, healthy choice.
Pretzel Sticks
These are somewhat of a normal snack for anyone. They're better for you than the potato chips, and they're filling.

Snack well. Enjoy!
