Video Games

Video games are fast becoming a great tool to stay in shape. A Wii offers you lots of different ways to stay in shape. Wii sports is one game that you can purchase that has several different sports on it, such as tennis, bowling and even baseball to name a few, these games require you to remain active with lots of movement.

Exercise specific games can be found on Wii fit, these will provide to you a balance board, where you will be given tests for your reflexes as well as your balance.

Games like Dance Dance Revolution require you to break a sweat and get quite the work out all while learning new dance moves.

Indoor Equipment

There are several different types of equipment that you can get, big or small that you can use in the comfort of your own home to help you to stay in shape. When it is too cold outside, a treadmill is a great way to get the same exercise at home.

If you have bad knees, then an elliptical can provide you with the same amount of exercise with less shock on your knees.

If you prefer a bike to running, then exercise bikes can provide you with the same amount of exercise only indoors.

Another great way to work out at home is by simply going about your chores with weights on your ankles or wrists.
