Your dog is a member of your family...but finding Christmas gifts to please Fido can be a challenge. Here is a list of the top ten gifts for your four-legged family members.

1. Personalized Dog Tag - For just a few dollars, you can create a shiny, new dog tag. This can be personalized with your dog's name, your address and phone number. Should your pup accidentally lose his way, this gift will give you peace of mind that he will find his way back home. $5 or under

2. Stylish Leash - Taking your dog for a walk is part of your daily ritual. We rarely stop to look at how beat up our dog's leash becomes over time. Christmas is a great time to add some pizzazz to your dog's leash. Get one in colors that suit your pup's personality. $5-$8

3. Frisbee - Big or small, all dogs love to chase flying objects. You can purchase a Frisbee in many sizes and materials to match your dog's needs. Hours of fun can be had for just a few dollars. $10 or under

4. Portable Water Bowl - When we are active outdoors, we become dehydrated. So do our dogs! A portable water bowl is an ideal gift for active dogs. Take it with you when you plan to be out on hot days and you can keep your dog well hydrated all day. $10-$15

If you get nothing else, make sure you keep up-to-date on your pet's medications. A great place to get discount medications (like Frontline) for your dog is at www.petcarerx.com. Priceless
